About the organisation
As a public health charity for LGBTQ+ people of colour, Black Beetle Health recognises the need to promote health, impart wellbeing, and endorse equality for all LGBTQ+ people of colour. We do so by addressing health misinformation, educating underrepresented communities of colour, signposting to relevant services and empowering individuals to become more informed decision makers.

Are you passionate about advancing health equity and ready to make a real impact? Black Beetle Health is seeking committed, strategic-minded individuals to join our Board of Trustees.
As a Trustee, you’ll help steer the charity’s vision, safeguard its values, and ensure it adheres to legal, financial, and ethical standards. Your role will include setting long-term strategies, overseeing effective administration, and contributing to impactful decision-making—all while upholding the charity’s good name and financial stability.
Responsibilities:

Advisory Board
Join Black Beetle Health’s Advisory Board!
We’re looking for passionate, strategic thinkers to join our Advisory Board and help guide Black Beetle Health in its mission to promote health equity for LGBTQ+ People of Colour. As a member of our Advisory Board, you’ll play a key role in providing high-level insights, offering impartial advice, and supporting initiatives that make a meaningful impact on communities.
What You’ll Do
- Attend and contribute to Advisory Board meetings, sharing expertise and insight.
- Work closely with our CEO to identify critical issues and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with trustees and other advisors, guiding the charity’s work towards our long-term vision.
- Support the identification of future board members who align with our mission and values.
